An Oasis of Lifelong Learning

The Faculty Development Committee reports to the Academic Senate and meets the first Tuesday of every month to review travel/conference requests and plan Faculty Development FLEX activities.  They also monitor the activities of the Faculty Resource Center and provide educational resources for faculty.

Funding for Faculty Development comes from the Alumni Academic Enrichment Fund.  The Faculty Development Committee approves up to $800 per faculty member per year and invites guest presenters to the college.  Applications for Travel/Conference requests are located at the Faculty Resource Center.
