The Friends of the College of the Desert Library’s 10th Annual Fall Book Sale is Nov. 13 on campus, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Friends will honor Laura Turner, whose donation of 4,000 books including 700 cookbooks, launched the first Cookbook Fall Sale. The sale features professional Chef’s personal cookbook collections along with a large assortment of books on such topics as World War II, Desert and West California, Self-help categories, History, Geography, and more.

The Parade of Chefs by Chef Steve Beno and his Culinary Arts students will arrive with cookies in time for the sale at 9:30 a.m. The event is in the Bookroom of the Maintenance Building, north side of campus.

All proceeds support the COD Library.
