College of the Desert offers two types of academic tracks; (1) lower division transfer courses required for most majors and professions at four-year universities or colleges and, (2) a wide variety of curricular offerings designed to meet the needs of those preparing for immediate employment, for those who are currently employed and need to upgrade their skills, or for those who are interested in a job retraining program and personal development.

If you have previously completed an online application and do not remember your password, you may call 1-800-468-6927. Note - the user ID and password for the CCCApply Online application is not the user ID or password for WebAdvisor
Admission Application
International Students
Previously Enrolled in ESL or ABE
If you are a new student and do not have an email address, please sign up for a FREE email address at Google or Yahoo. Make sure you have an e-mail address before you begin to complete the admission application. Your COD ID number and other information regarding your enrollment will be emailed to you within 24 hours of your application.
We have provided some information as well as some web links to assist you with this process.

- New Students at C.O.D.:
If you have never taken a class at C.O.D., you are a New Student and must submit an application.
- Adult Basic Education:
Programs, Resources, GED, and CalWorks information
- Returning Students:
If you have taken at least one class at any time at C.O.D. but have not attended for more than one semester, you are a Returning Student and must have your information updated, you will need to submit another application.
- Continuing Students:
If you registered for and completed at least one class in the current semester, you are a Continuing Student and will automatically receive a Roadrunner Registration Notice in the mail telling you when you may begin to register. You do not need to complete another application.
- Transfer Students:
If you have never attended College of the Desert but have attended another college or university – follow procedure for New Students.
- International Students:
International students wanting to study on the F-1 visa are NOT able to use the on-line application. International students wanting to attend College of the Desert must use the International Student Application which can be downloaded from our website: International Students. Please visit our website for information about how to apply including application deadlines, fees and available majors.
- High School Students:
Please complete the SPECIAL STUDENT APPLICATION and follow instructions. Make sure to follow the directions provided to ensure your request is considered for enrollment.
Attended College of the Desert while enrolled in high school (Special Student Application) and have graduated or will have graduated before the semester begins - You must apply again making sure you select your enrollment/admission status is 'New Student' . You are required to attend orientation. Your records will be activated after you complete the orientation process.
