Our regular office hours for the Fall semester, beginning Sept. 14, are 8:00 am - 5:00pm Monday through Thursday, and 8:00am - 12:00 noon on Fridays. Drop-in times are 10:00am - 2:00pm Monday through Thursday, and 10:00am - 12:00 noon on Fridays. To make an appointment for a half-hour or an hour session or for more information, please call (760) 773-2520.
Counselors are also available at the Eastern Valley Center on Monroe St. in Indio by appointment only. Please call (760) 776-7200 to schedule an appointment.
If you are transferring to COD from another college, you will need to meet with a counselor to verify prerequisites and possibly waive orientation and the assessment test, even if you have submitted official transcripts to Admissions & Records.
Orientation Information
Registration for full-term classes for the fall semester is now closed. If you are a new student and are registering for a late-starting class, please contact the Counseling Center at (760) 773-2522 for orientation information.
