The purpose of the International Internship Program at College of the Desert (COD) is to provide international participants that are affiliated with an overseas university official/partner or educational agency with a professional internship experience that will teach vital employment skills that compliment their educational background and introduce American business practices.  The skills learned via the interns working with Coachella Valley employers will assist them with future career plans in their home country and supplement their university degree.
