We understand personally that the transition to student life can be challenging, yet rewarding. We, along with the entire COD community, are grateful to you and your family members for your service to our country, and are dedicated to providing the services you need to successfully navigate this transition.
Our office is also an informational center to assist you with any questions you may have regarding your veterans’ educational benefits, as well as providing support services to ensure your success at College of the Desert.

College of the Desert is approved for the training of veterans, reservists, and eligible dependents under applicable federal and state laws administered by the Department of Veterans Affairs and the California Department of Veterans Affairs.

Welcome Veterans! My name is Donni Prince, and I am the VA Certifying Official for College of the Desert (COD) and the Co-Advisor for the COD Student Veterans Organization. My office is located in the Admissions & Records Office, Building C.
I am a COD employee, not a VA employee. I am here to help you whenever you have questions regarding VA or College regulations, procedures, or problems with receipt of educational benefits. I am also available if you just want to talk.
