Submitting a HelpDesk Ticket
When a Faculty or Staff user finds that they are having trouble with Datatel, media equipment, software or hardware they need to contact the Information Systems department for assistance. Please do not allow your students to attempt any troubleshooting.
If you are on campus, please access the HelpDesk via the icon on the desktop. This will take you into the portal for College of the Desert. On the HelpDesk site please click on the Logon button and then choose Create a New Case from the drop down list. Fill out the One Line Description with the main problem and add details in the text box above the Submit button.
If you are off campus and need assistance, you can email your problem to HelpDeskIS@collegeofthedesert.edu. Please summarize the problem in the subject and add your details in the body.
Once a work order is created you will receive an email summarizing the order. You can check your work order via the HelpDesk Icon or you can reply to the summarization.
