The revised series of indicators of institutional effectiveness are presently in development, and these indicators may include the following:  student headcount, high school graduation yield, adult participation rates, financial aid recipient count, course success rates, vocational course success rates, online course success rates, persistence rates with cohort breakouts, ARCC basic skills improvement rate, ARCC basic skills other measures, ARCC transfer rates, transfer headcount to UC and CSU, degree and certificates achievement, FTES targets and accomplishment, productivity FTES ratios.  The final determination of the effectiveness indicators will results from campus-wide dialogue and consensus.
 

  • ARCC Report as an Effectiveness Indicator: legislature mandated measures of effectiveness.

  • Awards as an Effectiveness Indicator:  tracking of AA degrees, AS degrees, Certificates over time.

  • Grades as an Effectiveness Indicator:  tracking of passing rates by course, Fall 2003-Spring 2009.

  • Transfers as an Effectiveness Indicator:  tracking of transfer to the UC and CSU systems over time.
