Bursar's Office
The Bursar's Office, sometimes referred to as the Cashier's Office, is a department responsible for accepting and processing all fees paid to College of the Desert. In addition, the Bursar's Office processes tuition refunds, Financial Aid/Scholarship disbursements, Payroll distribution, and Parking Permits.

Please be aware that many of your questions can be answered using the resources available on our website, including the new Chatbot feature. The links on the left side of this page and at the bottom of this page provide answers to many of the questions we encounter.
If you need to speak to someone in the Bursar's Office, the best way to reach us is to send us an Email to boffice@collegeofthedesert.edu from your COD student email address. In order for us to better assist you, please include the following:
- Your Full Name
- Student ID Number
- Phone number where we can contact you if we have questions
- Brief description of your question/problem

Payment Options
Fees are due in three days-count the day you enroll as the first day to prevent being dropped for non-payment. Once the term begins fees are due immediately; do not rely on being dropped for non-payment once the term begins.
Students who have applied for financial aid through either the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act Application (CADA) should wait until after their applications have been processed to pay fees.
Option 1)
Payments accepted 24 hours a day 365 days a year.
Please log into your @MyCod portal and click onto WebAdvisor to pay fees with a Visa, MasterCard, or a debit card that has the Visa/MasterCard logo. You will be able to print out a receipt immediately or anytime thereafter via the Web Advisor by selecting Registration statement under the Registration section in your WebAdvisor Student Menu.
Option 2)
During posted business hours students may pay by check or cash at the Bursar's window.
Option 3)
Mail your check, money order or cashier's check along with your student ID# to:

Funds must be drawn from a U.S. Bank in U.S. dollars.
Government issued identification is required for all window monetary transactions.

- Passport
- Drivers License
- U.S. Military ID
- Native American Tribal Photo ID
- Permanent Resident Card
- Border Crossing Card
- Matricula Consular ID
