Counseling
We are now accepting appointments. Students needing a Student Educational Plan must make an hour-long appointment. All others may be seen on a drop-in basis, but making an appointment assures minimal waiting time. Currently, appointments are being made approximately 2 1/2 weeks in advance. Call 760-773-2521 to make an appointment. Students are not assigned to a specific counselor.

Due to the high volume of students, the drop-in list may be closed earlier than 5:30pm Monday through Thursday, or 11:30am on Fridays.
Eastern Valley Counseling
Counselors are also available at the Eastern Valley Center in Indio and the Mecca/Thermal campus. To schedule an appointment at EVC Indio, please call 760-776-7200. To schedule an appointment at the Mecca/Thermal campus, please call 760-396-2010 to make an appointment.
Transfer Students
If you are transferring to COD from another college, you will need to meet with a counselor to verify prerequisites and possibly waive orientation and the assessment test, even if you have submitted official transcripts to Admissions & Records.
THE ASSESSMENT TESTING CENTER HAS MOVED
The Assessment Testing Center is now on the 2nd floor of the Cravens' Student Services Center.
