  Fall Semester 2015 Hours

                              Palm Desert Campus                                                               East Valley Campus

                                    Monday - Thursday: 8:30 - 4:30PM                                       Tuesday & Thursday: 8:30 - 11:30AM    

                                                Friday: 9-Noon    

HIV/STD testing, Family Planning, Contraceptive and Birth Control Services will be offered on the following dates:

                                                 September 2 & 15, October 7 & 20, November 4 & 17, December 2 & 15

                                         The hours are 10:30-2:30PM and offered at the Palm Desert Campus's Student Health Center

Note: TB testing is offered Mondays and Tuesdays ONLY at the Palm Desert campus and on Tuesdays at the Indio campus. Results are read 48 hours later
 

 

 

Student Health Services are available to support registered students in achieving their educational goals by maintaining optimum physical, mental and emotional health. The clinic is staffed with licensed professional nurses,  mental health professionals and a physician for the treatment and evaluation of minor, temporary physical and emotional conditions that require short term care. The physician is available a few hours a week, by appointment only, for the treatment of temporary illnesses. All services are free unless otherwise specified.  Services covered by your student health fee are:

·         health evaluations (including pregnancy, sore throat, urine and blood glucose tests)
·         first aid
·         health education and consultation
·         referrals
·         vision screening
·         process all COD student accident insurance claims
·         tuberculosis screening (TB Test)
·         mental health services
·         low cost flu vaccine
·       low cost titers for students in various health majors
