National Crisis Text Line

Crisis Text Line is free, 24/7 support for those in crisis. Text 741741 from anywhere in the US to text with a trained Crisis Counselor. Crisis Text Line trains volunteers to support people in crisis. With over 42 million messages processed to date, we’re growing quickly, but so is the need.

 Summer Semester 2017 Hours

(Starting June 12th, 2017)

Palm Desert Campus

Monday and Tuesday: 10:00 - 2:00PM (Note: We will be closed Mon July 31)

Wednesday and Thursday: 12-4:00PM

Note: TB screenings are offered Mondays and Tuesdays ONLY at the Palm Desert campus.
Results are read 48 hours later

Indio Campus Hours

Mondays and Wednesdays 7:30-9:30AM

Services at the Indio Campus (located in the administration offices on the second floor) are limited to TB screening and health referrals to local agencies.


 

Student Health Services are available to support registered students in achieving their educational goals by maintaining optimum physical, mental and emotional health. The clinic is staffed with licensed professional nurses,  and licensed mental health professionals  All services are free unless otherwise specified. 

Services covered by your student health fee are:

  • health evaluations (including pregnancy, sore throat, urine and blood glucose tests)
  • first aid
  • health education and consultation
  • referrals
  • vision screening
  • process all COD student accident insurance claims
  • tuberculosis screening (TB Test)
  • mental health services
  • low cost flu vaccine
  • low cost titers for students in various health majors
  • low cost vaccines
