Military Warns about Facebook's new application: "Places I checked into"
I received this info from one of my Vets who just received this intel from his National Guard unit. He asked me to pass along the info. The military is advising their personnel who use Facebook to disable it. Important info on a new application on Facebook – “Places I Checked Into” – a way for others to see where you’re at and post it on your Facebook page. Maybe a little too much info out there. If you don’t mind people knowing where you’re at – ignore this message.
