General Information
The Language Lab at College of the Desert is a state-of-the-art language instruction facility where students work at their own pace to develop communicative skills in their target language. It is used by students enrolled in foreign language courses, American Sign Language students, students enrolled in Non-Credit English as a Second Language courses, and Intensive English Academy students. Students use computer-assisted instruction and videos to supplement classroom instruction. Tutoring is also available for some languages.
Instructional assistants and qualified language instructors supervise the Lab. No previous experience with computers is necessary to use our services.
