Resources for Languages

Skillstutor Program

Many College of the Desert students are not native speakers of English.  The ESL sites listed here are specially chosen to provide instruction and exercises to help our non-native English students.  Keep in mind that new language skills are learned most quickly when you study for short periods (1/2 an hour) several times a day rather than for long periods once a week.  So make a habit of using these sites regularly to improve your grammar, usage, vocabulary, and fluency in using the English language.

Mousercise - This site gives the students an introduction to using the mouse. It is provided from The Ultimate Christmas Site.
