Student may be exempt from the assessment, orientation, and /or the counseling/advising components of matriculation if they meet certain criteria.  (Title 5 §55532)   However, student will not be exempt from the admissions and follow-up components of matriculation.

Students wishing to obtain a matriculation exemption in any of the three areas mentioned should submit a Matriculation Exemption Request, all with supporting documentation, to the Counseling Center.  If approved, the Counseling Center staff will clear the student to register for classes.  Please remember to enter your student ID number.
