The cross country program continues to reap rewards. As the local high schools in the Coachella Valley rise to the top levels of competition, their progress influences the Roadrunner program. The team has dedicated student-athletes who have goals of transferring and competing at even higher levels. During the year they travel all over California, competing and showcasing their talent.
This season the Women's team finished second in the Foothill Conference. The entire womens team qualified for Southern California Regionals and the State championships.
Coach Wendy Ansley earned Coach of the Year for the Foothill Conference for women.
The Men's team finished third in the conference. The entire men's team qualified for Southern California Regionals. Three qualified for the State meet. Luis Pimentel earned All Conference, All Southern California, and All State honors.
