Funds given directly to the College include scholarships for students, scholarships for the children of COD students to attend the Child Development Center, funds to purchase equipment and software, funds to renovate the science building and Marks Center for the Arts, mini-grants to faculty for professional development and improving classroom instruction, support for the Library, new program dollars for the Nursing and Public Safety Academy programs, support for “Smart Classrooms” and on and on.
