COD Breaks Graduation Record
For the fourth straight year, College of the Desert on May 25 broke the record for
the largest graduating class in the school’s history.
This year, the College awarded 1,488 degrees and certificates.
Nearly 600 students walked the stage during Commencement Ceremony. College Superintendent/President
Joel L. Kinnamon, Ed.D., and Desert Community College District Board of Trustees Chair
Becky Broughton handed the graduating students their credentials.
