RN Pinning Ceremony
College of the Desert will celebrate the newest nursing graduates at a colorful pinning ceremony on May 25 at the McCallum Theatre. The students participating have earned the Associate Degree in Nursing and are now eligible
to take the licensing examination to become registered nurses. The ceremony begins
at 2 p.m.
The nursing program at College of the Desert has a proven track record of excellence.
Many local medical facilities and all three valley hospitals partner with the College to
provide nursing students with clinical requirements to graduate. The faculty in the
program set high educational standards to ensure students are successful transitioning
into the workforce. Most graduates stay in the Coachella Valley to care for local
residents.
