New Learning in Retirement Class

Learning in Retirement is offering a new class in Palm Springs for seniors who want to exercise their brain and expand their awareness. The class, Hot News Hot Views, provides students the opportunity to discuss breaking local, state, national and international news with curious and knowledgeable colleagues.

Taught by John Considine, the course will take place Tuesdays, from January 7 through February 25, 2020, from noon to 2 p.m. in the Coachella Valley Economic Partnership Boardroom, located at 3111 E. Tahquitz Canyon Way in Palm Springs.

A variety of Learning in Retirement classes are currently offered in Palm Desert at the College of the Desert’s Partnership and Community Education classrooms in the Westfield Mall. Participants can take multiple (up to five) courses for one modest flat fee of $60 per semester.

To register, visit the Learning in Retirement website. The start of the Winter term begins the week of January 6, 2020, with most classes running eight weeks.
