New Late Start Fall Courses
New Classes Provide Students More Options Following Malware Attack
Providing students with more choices and additional options, College of the Desert is adding several new late-start courses to its Fall 2020 semester offerings.
The College has added several new sections, including those required for general education, transfer and Career Technical Education.
Students can choose from a variety of classes including courses in English, Communications, Business Management, Kinesiology, History, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology and Astronomy.
Available Career Technical Education includes courses in, Alternative Fuels, Residential Building Codes, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration, Administration of Justice, Electrical Theory, Fire Inspection, Green Building, Residential Solar and more.
All classes are being offered online in a synchronous or asynchronous format and will begin in late September or October.
New students can apply by visiting www.collegeofthedesert.edu and then clicking on the “Apply Now” button located on the left side of the page.
To see a list of all our late starting courses, use WebAdvisor and enter:
1. Today’s date under the “Starting On/After Date”
2. Last day of the term under the “Ending By Date” (12/18/20)
3. Now select “Undergraduate” under Academic Level, leave everything else blank then hit “SUBMIT” at the bottom of the screen.
