Arizona Resident Reduced Tuition Program
College of the Desert Board of Trustees has established a reduced tuition program for the enrollment of nonresident students from the State of Arizona for the 2023-2024 academic year.
Agenda Item 17.01 approved by the Board on April 21, 2023 provides that for a maximum
of 100 nonresident Arizona students enrolled at College of the Desert for the 2023-2024
academic year, the District’s nonresident tuition fee shall be $138 per semester unit,
equivalent to three times the current California resident per-unit fee. For all enrolled
nonresident Arizona students in excess of 100, the nonresident tuition fee shall be
$332 per semester unit.
To apply for the Arizona Resident Reduced Tuition Program simply complete the electronic Program Application and submit a valid Arizona Driver's License or Identification (ID) Card to the Admissions and Records office. Reduced tuition will be awarded to the first 100 students that submit applications.
