Emergency Medical Services
College of the Desert has a program called Emergency Medical Services (EMS). This program teaches students how to help people who are sick or hurt in emergencies. It gets them ready for jobs like Emergency Medical Responders (EMR) and Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT). Students learn important skills, including how to operate an ambulance and how to act as a team leader in urgent situations.
