International Education Week

We are excited to invite you to celebrate International Education Week (IEW), a joint initiative of the U.S. Departments of State and Education that highlights the benefits of international cultural exchange and education. The International Education Program (IEP) encourages all students and staff to participate in the following activities during this special week.

Monday, November 17:

Event Title: Dishes from Around the World

Demonstration Times:

10 a.m. - Mexican Dish

12 p.m. - Japanese Dish

2 p.m. - Oaxaquen Dish

4 p.m. - Indian Dish

Location: Cravens Multi-Purpose Room

Description: Join us to explore and taste dishes from around the world, expertly prepared by our talented international students. Discover diverse flavors and cultures while connecting with our vibrant international community! Enjoy cooking demonstrations every two hours.


Tuesday, November 18:

Event Title: Languages of the World

Time: 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Location: Cravens 2nd floor Room #269 (classroom behind the elevator)

Description: Join us for an engaging session where you'll learn conversation phrases and slang from around the world, taught by native speakers. It’s a great opportunity to expand your language skills while having fun! 


Wednesday, November 19:

Event Title: International Trivia Competition

Time: 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Location: Cravens Multi-Purpose Room

Description: Join us for a global knowledge test! Form a team or join one for a chance to win prizes for trivia, games, and international fashion! Lunch will be provided for all participants.


Thursday, November 20:

Event Title: World Voices Karaoke

Time: 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Location: Cravens Multi-Purpose Room

Description: Join an afternoon of global beats, karaoke, and international candies! Grab your friends and sing in any language, you won't want to miss this!
