Community Health Worker: Children and Families Certificate of Achievement

College of the Desert has a program called "Community Health Worker: Children and Families." This program teaches students how to help children and families get the health care they need. Students learn to share important health information and connect families with helpful resources in their community. They also learn how to speak up for people's health needs and even perform some basic health checks. This program leads to a  certificate that prepares students for jobs helping families stay healthy.
