Adult Basic Education

College of the Desert offers programs for adults interested in completing a high school diploma, prepare for the GED exam, and/or learn English as a Second Language Noncredit (ESLN). Additionally, there is a ABE and ESLN Counselor that will assist you in pursuing a college education, advance your workforce credentials, and learn important life skills.

Adults who enter the high school completion program are able to transfer credit received from previous high schools they may have attended, as well as to obtain credit for military service, technical school attended, and work experience.

COD's Adult Education also offers a program to prepare students for the General Education Development (GED) test.

Classes are offered in the morning and evening online.

To enroll, visit the Admissions Noncredit Program Registration page for program specific and contact information.
