We prioritize the retention of carceral-impacted students by fostering a secure and inclusive environment that encourages the success of all our students. Our commitment extends to offering targeted workshops that address the specific needs of our students. Through engaging in co-curricular events, we aim to cultivate a sense of belonging and enhance the social capital of our students. Moreover, we ensure a robust support system both on and off campus. This comprehensive  approach includes providing assistance with on-campus resources and connecting students with valuable off-campus support networks. Our goal is to empower and retain our students by addressing their diverse needs and supporting them holistically throughout their educational journey here at College of the Desert and beyond.
