Governor's budget announced; schools begin work on draft of fall semester schedule; winter intersession begins and ends; schools receive summer scheduling timeline and materials; IT conducts data run for CTEA funding

February:

Budget review; fall semester schedules returned to schools for final review and revisions; load sheets due for fall semester; spring semester begins; schools submit proposed draft for summer schedule; schools receive first draft of summer schedule and start to finalize changes

March:

PEP-Ups due; PEPs due; PRUs due; Institutional Effectiveness and Planning distributes materials for Staff Prioritization and Equipment Prioritization; units rank staff and equipment requests within their units; fall schedule uploaded to website and published; summer schedules returned to schools for final review and revisions; load sheets due for summer term; CTEA funding planning kicks off: forms distributed, state budget announced

April:

New department budgets submitted to Fiscal Services; Staff Prioritization takes place; summer schedule uploaded to website and published; CTE Advisory Committee meets, CTEA funding third-quarter report

May:

Purchasing deadlines; May state budget revise; Equipment Prioritization takes place; list of other requests submitted through PEP-Ups/PEPs/PRUs consolidated by Institutional Effectiveness and Planning; schools receive spring semester scheduling timeline and materials; spring semester ends; CTEA funding application submitted

June:

Staff Prioritization and Equipment Prioritization scored requests lists reviewed by Budget Subcommittee; schools make revisions to spring semester schedule and return draft to Scheduling; summer term begins

July:

New fiscal year and budgets begin; CTEA funding available and fourth-quarter report 

August:

Data generated for upcoming program review cycle; summer term ends; fall semester begins; CTEA funding final report submitted

September:

Current budgets reconciled and approved by Board of Trustees; Institutional Effectiveness and Planning distributes materials for Faculty Prioritization; Faculty Prioritization pre-meeting takes place; second draft of winter intersession schedule due to Scheduling and drafts returned to schools for revision; schools make revisions to spring semester schedule and return draft to Scheduling

September/October/November:

Superintendent/President announces funded staff positions and equipment items from the previous spring's prioritizations

October:

Final revisions to winter intersession schedule due to Scheduling and schools make final review; CTEA funding second-quarter report submitted

October/November:

Faculty Prioritization takes place

November:

Schools receive fall semester scheduling timeline and materials; final revisions to winter intersession schedule due to Scheduling, schools make final reviews, schedule uploaded to website; winter intersession load plans due; final revisions to spring semester schedule due to Scheduling, schools make final reviews, schedule uploaded to website and published; spring semester load plans due

December:

Fall semester ends; mid-year budget review; faculty positions approved for recruitment announced by Superintendent/President; faculty recruitments begin for subsequent year; schools submit proposed fall schedule draft, schools receive first draft and finalize changes
