Generative AI Foundations for Creativity
This beginner-friendly training introduces generative AI for creative people with little to no prior experience. Participants learn how AI tools are being used in design, video, photography, audio, and storytelling, through clear instruction and hands-on creative projects. No technical background required.
Required Items
- PC or Mac
- Access to video/photo editing software
- Participant-selected large language model
- Additional AI tools appropriate for the final project
Examples include ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and Anthropic Claude and creative platforms like RunwayML, Stable Diffusion, Adobe Firefly, and Midjourney. Participants may choose other suitable platforms.

Certification and Portfolio

- Projects may include a short video, social media campaign, music video, short film, or another approved creative project
- Build practical, resume-ready skills
Participants choose their own platforms and are responsible for any related subscription costs.
