Getting Started

Steps to applying and registering for courses at College of the Desert:

  1. Complete the online application - Apply Now

  2. Allow 24 to 48 hours after you complete the application to receive your COD Student ID Number.

  3. Once you have received your COD Student ID, complete the steps on the Registration Checklist

  4. After you have completed Step 7 of the Registration Checklist

  5. Contact the COD Veterans Counselor, Evelyn Trejo, at to set up your Student Educational Plan appointment
