Place into Transfer-Level Math & English

The State of California has enacted a new law affecting students at community colleges. Assembly Bill 705 requires colleges to maximize the probability that students will complete transfer-level English and math within one year and English as a second language within three years.

This means that all students now can enroll in transfer-level English and Math courses.

Guided self-placement tools are available to students to assist with Math and English course selection and registration. To access the tools, click on the buttons below.

We recommend that students to speak with a counselor before registration. Counselors can provide a multiple measures review of your preparation for transfer-level work. They can also inform you about the particular courses that are required to meet your goal.
