TASC Spring 2026 Workshops
The Tutoring and Academic Skills Center (TASC) at College of the Desert is here to support you this spring. We are offering a series of writing and language-focused workshops designed to help you build strong academic skills, improve confidence, and succeed in your courses.
All workshops are free and open to currently enrolled COD students. Sessions are offered in person at the Palm Desert and Indio campuses, as well as online via Zoom.

Writing Workshops
Working on an essay, research paper, or class writing assignment? Our Spring 2026 Writing Workshops provide step-by-step guidance on everything from getting started to polishing your final draft.
Led by COD English faculty these workshops focus on practical strategies you can immediately apply to your coursework.

Language Lab Workshops
Looking to strengthen your language, grammar, or computer skills this spring? TASC’s Language Lab Workshops provide hands-on support in a welcoming environment where you can build practical skills and gain confidence in your coursework.
Led by Nikki Giuseffi, these workshops are designed to support students at all skill levels.
