Hours of Operation:

The Mecca/Thermal Bilingual Enrollment Services Staff is available Monday through Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Administration Office - A1. Hours of availability are subject to change, please contact our office or visit our website for changes in hours. Counseling

The Counseling Center offers a variety of counseling options, including in-person, online and via phone. 

Appointments

Please call 760-396-2010 or 760-776-7200 for availability at the Indio Campus or call 760-773-2521 for availability at the Palm Desert Campus.

Drop-Ins

Counselors are available for students to speak with on a drop-in basis. In drop-in counseling, counselors can answer quick questions or help with problems that require immediate attention in-person or via phone. If your question requires more than 15 minutes to address, the counselor may schedule you for a follow-up appointment.

Please call 760-396-2010 or 760-776-7200 to be added to the Indio Drop-In List or call 760-773-2521 to be added to the Palm Desert Drop-In List.

The drop-in list normally closes a half an hour before closing, however, due to the high volume of students, it may close earlier​​.

The plEDGE Program offers recent high school graduates (or equivalent) from the Coachella Valley two full years of free tuition and fees at College of the Desert!
